It is a fact that many businesses continue to pay significantly over the odds for their telephone calls.  Threshold Telecom are already helping businesses save money on their outbound telephone calls by intelligently routing calls over Tier 1 call carrying networks and maximising the cheapest (or least cost) routing for each call.

There are two methods of routing calls, Carrier Pre Select (CPS) or Least Cost Routing (LCR).

CPS - A technique which utilises the technology at the exchange in order to seamlessly route your calls.  No changes are required to telephone equipment and this service can be offered on almost all types of telephone lines.

LCR - A technique where a telephone system (via it’s internal programming) automatically and seamlessly modifies the digits dialled by the user making an outside call in order to route the call via the lowest cost carrier.

Each year in January we reduce our call costs to match reductions in wholesale prices.  Most other providers will sign you up to a long term contract using rates which look attractive now, but within a year the rates will be expensive and outdated.  These providers will not reduce your call costs and will charge you a huge penalty to get out of your contract.  Threshold Telecom is different: as discounts are passed on to us, we will pass them down to you.
